Even though we don't have enough chairs or a big enough table, we decided to invite our district of 12 missionaries over before the transfer and before Sister Zvimba goes home.
Sister Martin made her Indian garlic naan bread to help satisfy their immense hunger.
Then we had everyone divide into three groups for some LDS trivia JEOPARDY.
The game we found online was created in 2018, just after President Russell M. Nelson became the President of the Church so some of the questions were a little outdated.
Some of their reactions were so fun.
One of the few humanitarian projects that we've been blessed to work on was with an NGO called RealHumanitarian out of Canada. One of their endeavors is to reduce poverty by helping those less fortunate learn a trade in order to be qualified enough to get a job. So they teamed up with another organization that has a trade school.
Some of our church members were able to participate in the current session. They teach Clothing making (sewing), Furniture making, Barbering and Hair dressing.
This is a single mother from our branch that is learning hair dressing and styling. Sister Martin visited her in her home a couple of months ago.

Sister Martin just had another 2 boys join her primary.
She still only averages about 3 or 5 children attend each week.
We are currently teaching a Temple Preparation class. The last lesson was quite interesting. It was about how Jesus taught in parables and how there are symbols in Gospel learning and in the Temple.
The parable of the mustard seed helped illustrate. Matthew 13:31-32
...The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree...

Welcome to a new sister missionary, Sister Chibuisi. Since Sister Zvimba went home, Sister Udoekong needed a new companion. They are both from Nigeria but did not know each other. The Church is so big in Nigeria, now with 72 stakes and nearly a quarter million members.
We also had a young man over who was an orphan here in Addis Ababa, adopted by an American family when he was little, and now he has come back to live in his native land. We've had fun getting to know him.
